Cabin weekend (2)
Towards the end of the winter I tend to hate Norway. I hate my clothes,my coat,my shoes and cannot wait to get them all in to storage.
The change of season has (like last year) made me feel like a whole new person. I'm loving Norway. Today I took my sandals and summer clothes out of storage (it was 19c) and put away our winter gear. Feels good to put away the winter.
I'm also putting together things to take to our cabin to make it feel more like home. We are slowly clearing out all of Henrik's folks stuff and replacing it with our own and it certainly feels nice to have money this year compared to last years thrifty summer!

I love the wood walls - are they naturally that colour?
ReplyDeleteHi Alison- I think the walls are pine that have been whitewashed (it was built and painted by my father in law so this is just a guess!) I like them too, although in some light they can look a bit pink-which I don't like!
ReplyDeleteYour cabin looks like the perfect little haven : )
ReplyDeleteWow, you have a very talented father in law! It looks so fresh and I bet it smells lovely if they are pine :)
