I have my Norwegian exam at the end of the month. Not sure I'm ready but I'm taking it anyway.
I am so proud that in only four months I have a grasp on this language. It has not been easy and there have been
many tears and frustrations along the way but I feel I have really achieved something. I still have a long way to go but I'm getting there......
Sometimes I dont understand the logic behind some things in Norwegian, like 'what is the clock?' Crazy language!
ReplyDeleteBut I did enjoy learning and improving.
In which VO in Oslo do you study?
Til lykke med prøve!
Hei May! Do not get me started on the logic of learning norsk! Time telling is insane! What is this silly way of adding another hour once you have gone over quarter past the hour! Madness!! My school is near Sandvika at Emma Hjorth. Where did you study?
ReplyDeletelearning another language is massively daunting to me but something i would love to do & i think living in the country would be a fine way to get started...4mths & already grasping things is amazing! good luck with the exam & love the rock skimming shot. dayle
ReplyDeleteJust you wait. After living here long enough, your English will start to deteriorate and you'll find yourself saying things like "I'm going to lay myself". Seriously, it will happen
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I adore the picture of your shelves.
ReplyDeleteit's fantastic lisa, a real achievement especially with such a tricky language. x
ReplyDeleteGood luck, Lisa!
ReplyDeleteI'm taking one at the end of the month, too (and I"m not ready, either. . . ). Best of luck--will be thinking of you!
Im impressed!! I think some are better at learning language or maybe its my age. hehe!! I can read much better then speaking but then Im shy to speak it.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed for your exam !!!
ReplyDeleteAnd love, love, love your ceramics collection :-)
Beautiful collection! and good luck for your exam!
ReplyDeleteTime telling drives me nuts, even after I managed to learn and remeber it all. What the hell is 'half six'? How can a half of something actually be a half of something whole before it? :P
ReplyDeleteI studied in Helsfyr and Smedstua. We live in the unattractive east side of Oslo (close to my boyfriend's work). Dreaming of moving to Sandvika in a year.
your shelf with the ceramics is absolutely beautiful!
