No cabin for us this weekend, we fancied staying home and relaxing here. We bbq'd, had a day trip to Sweden, watched films (500 days of summer, Hotel New Hampshire and The Godfather) and picked lots of wild alpine strawberries from the roof of the garage in the garden! Hope you all had a great weekend!
Mi Joya- Sadly it's not Belgian beer! Norway is not known for selling anything from other countries (unless they dont make it in Norway!) so its just a boring (and expensive norwegian beer!) The glass however is belgian (bought in Denmark)
Oh man! This looks so idyllic! I'm totally jealous, I want to BE there picking strawberries with you! You really seem to get the most out of your summer, that's so nice. Oh, and didn't you just love '500 Days of Summer'?? I do!
Those strawberries looks great, so lucky you have them nearby. I just love thier special flavour. I picked few plants from my mother in law's garden last year and planted it in a pot. It gave many fruits last year, but no blooms this year :/
Mmm... wild strawberries. They look delicious.
ReplyDeleteI love wild strawberries, they are impossible to find in London. I have a small plant and maybe had 20 in total.
ReplyDeleteOh! There's belgian beer :)
ReplyDeleteThey sell it overthere?
I think you just created a fantatic "visit Norway in July" travel brochure. Wish I could find some berries on my rooftop too...
ReplyDeleteToo funny!
ReplyDeleteThe grass roof is amazing. What a great photo.
