We discovered many new beaches/cafes/ice cream spots this weekend whilst wandering in the car, including a cute little beach with imported white sand and crystal blue water. The water temps are still pretty cold which is not suprising when you think back to the frozen fjord just 2 months ago. I'm loving our cabin and escaping there every weekend and I'm really enjoying no internet & tv (although we have cheated a bit with series one of True blood on dvd on the laptop!)
oh my gosh. stop it. it's too perfect. that beach! are those individual postboxes? saw such gorgeous little houses like yours when we were travelling in sweden. got quite close to the norwegian border, amazing scenery. x
I can't wait to see pics of you diving into that water. And those mailboxes- I always have to stop and snap a photo of each weird little hut we pass- we have one down the road from us that has an entire tree growing out of the roof. Norwegians are weird.
Hi Lisa. I found your blog through Emily (of The Lille-Stanges) and have so enjoyed looking through it. Your photographs are incredibly beautiful and make me love Norway even more than I already do! I will definitely drop by again.
I live in Sandefjord, not too awfully far from you. I'm so looking forward to summer, as you certainly are, as well? Enjoy!
I was actually just wondering, is this lake the same as the frozen fjord from a few months ago?
ReplyDeleteMiss Winkelmann- Yep, same one! Amazing huh?
ReplyDeleteAh, 'creative' postkassestativ... One of my pet hates. The rest of the place looks great, though :-)
ReplyDeleteWhere in beautiful Norway is your cabin? It looks fairly warm compared to the northern cities. (=

ReplyDeleteLucky you Lisa - Norway is not bad at all ha?!
ReplyDeleteI am so envious, I am a bit obsessed with logs at the moment - I dream of having a log cabin!
