We walked from our house to Bogstad this afternoon as a reminder to why we moved here.
Im homesick today. I dont miss London as much as I miss certain things we used to do and the people we used to do them with but after our walk (and a fleamarket) I was back to loving my new home!
If you need new wellies then I cant recommend
Tretorn enough, they are the dogs bollocks of the welly world!
Looks absolutely fabulous. How are the language lessons going? Which winter boats did you buy? Love the wellies. xx
ReplyDeleteHi Kaya! Language lessons have not started yet, Im bound up in red tape until my Family Reunification comes through, which if Im lucky will be in the next 3 months. If I was a refugee I'd be good to go but seeing as Im only a "love refugee" Im at the bottom of the pile! I am slowly picking up Norwegian as I go but its hard as everyone speaks great English so it's easy to be lazy! I ordered the Oslo Merrell boots but Im living in the wellies at the moment. Fashion has flown the nest for the winter!
ReplyDeletelovely pictures!!!

I will be impatiently waiting photos of your loppemarked finds! Oh! And having the right footwear is crucial! I bought these and these in January just before we moved back to Oslo (in preparation for the move. I've loved them both!(I'm a shoe lover. It's one of the disappointments of moving to a freezing, slushy region -- being forced to be sensible about shoes!)
ReplyDeleteOh well, I know how it is to be homesick, it can really sometimes hit yourself...I hope you are feeling better...
ReplyDeleteI really like the last image and your wonderful rug.
