We are back from Norway and have just seen Let the right one in.Such a good film. Wow. If you like scary films then this is for you.Normally Im not a huge fan of subtitles (you know, multi-tasking andall that!) but you forget they are there as there is not a huge amount ofdialogue (and I was chuffed to understand most of the Swedish as itsvery similar to Norwegian) Go and see this film(in UK cinemas now)
Yes,you can get lots of Scandi sweets in London. Try The Scandinavian Kitchen on Great Titchfield St, W1, The Swedish Shop on Crawford St and Skandium on Marylebone High Street has a good selection on Finnish goodies (but super expensive!)
oooh! I love those Finnish sweets! Scandinavian sweets are the best. Do you know anywhere in London I can get them?

ReplyDeleteThese photos are so sweet and convey a pleasing sense of home.
ReplyDeleteThat particular film has long been on my list to see... though for me it'll be subtitles all the way.
