Hej Sverige!

Yesterday was Norway's national day (and a day off!)
I'd already waved the flag, hip hip hurrah-ed, eaten hot dogs, ice cream and paraded round the local area on Wednesday at work so I really didn't feel the need to do it again yesterday, so we jumped in the car and drove the 80 minutes it takes to get to the Swedish border instead. We relaxed on lovely deserted beaches and took tiny bridges from island to island and it was a perfect little getaway.
I'm free from work today and shall cut my hair in Norway for the first time -I've been having haircuts in England but my barnet is in such a state right now that I'm going to have to bite the bullet(and empty my bank account!)  and visit a norwegian hairdresser!

  1. Good luck with the frisør. I'm on #5, and still not quite satisfied! They all like to cut my bangs a little too "Euro-short", if you know what I mean. . .

  2. Good luck with the hair-do.

I hate having to find a new hairdresser I changed mine when we moved and tried a few local ones but I've ended up travelling back to the old one again.

  3. I have to do the same tomorrow. And I'm still not sure what I should do at the hair-dresser. I need a new haircut but I don't know which one could be good for me...
    Lykke til!

  4. When we visited Tromso I have never seen quite so many hairdressers in one smallish place! Is it like that where you are? :) I read your blog from start to finish. It is absolutely lovely. Great photos and you make me laugh too!
