Bærums Verk

Last night we went to Bærums Verk to do some Christmas shopping and soak up the festive atmosphere!
Henrik has now finished work for 2 weeks and I am praying that the bad weather in England does not ruin our trip. One thing I love about Norway is it's ability to cope in bad weather. Your car legally has to have winter tyres so you can carry on driving, they plough and grit quickly because life has to continue normally!

  3. I love your pictures, they are beautiful!

Netherlands are useless when it comes to snow unfortunately, same as the UK. No salt or grit anywhere. Pretty much all flights from Amsterdam to the UK were canceled yesterday and today incl mine :( 3000 people stranded at the airport overnight.

Am sure you'll be fine for Monday though

  4. This look so pretty!

I think everyone else in Europe can cope with winter weather, and I was just saying today to my husband that after few years of snow misery and complete paralysis they still don't consider winter tyres to be obligatory.
