Kent (part II)

Dungeness is a bleak but beautiful spot in the most southerly point in Kent where artist and film maker Derek Jarman lived at Prospect Cottage in the shadow of the Dungeness Power Station. The Cottage's beach garden was made using local materials found in the beach and the raised wooden text on the side of the house is from a John Donne poem. This is my ideal little holiday home.....

  1. Lisa, such beautiful photos and what gorgeous weather you had for your visit. I have to admit that Dungeness is my favourite place to visit in England... have been a few times from stays in Romney Marsh and Rye. Realise I need a visit to the coast and soon!!
