My week has been shockingly lazy but I feel like thats what I needed.I went into school for a few hours to sort out our classroom and builda shop in the roleplay area but apart from that I've enjoyed potteringaround doing not very much. I feel a bit guilty now my week off is almostover and I've achieved NOTHING! Oh well...
Today was nice and relaxing. It started with nice mail, this cute broach and owl from WAYAYA. I ate a long breakfast in bed watching Californication. I then made a quick trip to Ikea ( I was there and back within 2 hours) and bought a lovely blanket from the PS range (pictured above) I came home and tried out my new blanket with a quick afternoon nap before I made scones and sorted out my necklaces and hung up all the bits and pieces that have been lying all over the place driving Henrik mad!
Its half term so no school for me. I fully intend to be very lazy all week long. Lots of lounging, films, cafes and maybe some shopping but Im planning on taking it very easy. I started my week with breakfast in bed watching a few episodes of Greys Anatomy that I've been saving up. Perfect.
An early trip into town to meet a friend for breakfast. Some treats from Selfridges, planting some bulbs to hurry spring along and an afternoon getting to know my new mac (a very early birthday present from Henrik) Its funny how far ahead my new mac is to my 3 year old one.
I love these little guys from the Brick Lane Sunday Up-market. There were too many to choose from so I think I'll have to go back for more! You can buy online too www.theworldofbobbydazzler.co.uk
Today in London we had the heaviest snow for 18 years.School was closed so no work for me and Henrik couldnot get to work cause there were no trains. We had fun with our friends on Primrose Hill all dayand then came home, drank hot chocolate and got cosy.
I love the packing on these sweets I bought back from Norway. I've been savouring them for the last few weeks but now they have all gone and all thats left is the lovely packaging...
Im a good cook but a terrible baker as I hate reading recipes. I hate being specific about amounts and I suppose thats pretty important! BUT I have managed to make up this banana bread recipe and its delicious (so much for my diet!) if you, like me are not into doing as you are told! I also replace the ounces for table spoons, even easier!
I'm loving this book at the moment. Such cute patterns and as a bonus a lovely dvd so you can upload them to your computer and play around with them. (although I did experience a few problems as it's more geared up for a pc than a mac) I still love it though.
